Turns out BofA took this home back in foreclosure for $284k in july 2011. On Dec 30, 2011, BofA loan servicing sold it to REO Seastone LP for $229k.

BofA had it listed in the MLS using Keller Williams starting November 14, 2011 and that listing was withdrawn Dec 14, 2011. It is currently not available for sale, despite what Trulia says.

Please understand that Trulia does NOT SYNC with the MLSs directly. Changes have to be made to listing statuses by hand by the agent that put the listing on Trulia. The MLS listing was withdrawn from market over a month ago, but still shows active on Trulia because that agent has forgotten to change its status.

The agent that listed this property needs to go into Trulia and withdraw the listing from market to match the MLS status.

This property is currently not available for sale.

It is impossible to predict what REO Seastone LP will do with this asset. Chances are, they will hold it and rent it out for now as many investors are doing.

Dear Daphne, I am confused, you are listed as a "home buyer", are you renting and looking for homes in your neighborhood? HI Daphne... we generally don't find out the buyers name until escrow closes and the Deed of Trust records and becomes a matter of public record. Otherwise, that is confidential information.
