This home was sold and off the market, why has it returned on the market? Why are there so many homes on sale on that one street?

I was curious so I looked into that. It has been under contract several times since 2009.
Short sales can take awhile to be approved. It was finally approved but never sold. It was withdrawn and re listed. It just went into attorney review, meaning an offer has been accepted. During the time in contract, it is not available to be shown, although written offers can be made as back-up offers.
There are several beautiful homes on the market on that block. This is a summary

For that house there is a small asterisk on the word "Active" - that indicates it is currently in attorney review.
35 Highwood Rd is Under Contract. This report is direct from the source of the GSMLS.

Information on Trulia, Zillow and other sites is often not accurate or updated. One of the reasons it helps to find a Realtor you are comfortable with to help in your search. You are not obligated, and it costs you no fee. If you place an offer and close on a house with that agent, the seller pays any commission to the Realtor who assisted you.

That house is a short sale. It is currently showing as "attorney review in progress" (ARIP).......it's not surprising when short sale deals fall through, and homes come back on the market.

Also, it's not unusual to see several homes on a street, or in a specific area, come on the market at the same time. It happens all the time.
