The 'public record' square footage for my listing is incorrect. How do I change it?

Asked by Eb-austin, Austin, TX Wed Oct 7, 2009

When my listing pulls up on a Trulia search, the quick facts list the correct square footage. However, when you click on the listing for more details, the public records give the wrong number. I checked the tax records and it provides the correct sqft. Where is this information coming from...'public record'. Help - Austin

Perhaps there is an erroneous entry in the MLS data input. Or there could be a glitch in the server that is causing that to happen. If you are representing yourself on this sale, then contact the help desk at Trulia; otherwise, outsource this to your realtor.
