I know of several really good property managers in Honolulu, but it would depend on the type of property you want managed and where it is located in Honolulu.
You can check my website, http://www.DreamHomeInHawaii.com and email me from there if you like.
HomeQuest Realtors, LLC
I do not handle any rentals. One caveat: do not do any transactions over the Internet. That is, do not pay anyone anything until you see the person or actually have someone else meet the person. Once you know who they are, then fax or email is fine. I guess you're already here so that will be easy.
Some resources for house hunting (this is where people that are looking for rentals go)
Property Management (Google on Warren Dote)
Cornerstone Properties (ask for Carl)

Our company has been managing both long term rentals and short term(vacation rentals) for going on 20 years now. Depending on the location of the property and zoning laws we would be able to advise you on where to buy and how you should rent to best meet your needs. If you have questions and would like to contact us you can see our websites at:
http://www.hawaiiproperty.com (long term rentals and sales)
http://www.captaincookresorts.com (vacation rentals)
We also do real estate sales, so if you need a Realtor we can help with that as well.
