Hi Rab,

Are you familiar with Albuquerque? I have a few questions for you to help me narrow down my searches. I am a native New Mexican and I'm familiar with all areas of Albuquerque/Bernalillo and depending on your wants and needs other than what you have listed above I'm sure we can find you a great property.

Greetings from Albuquerque.

You have received a lot of great information from my fellow Realtors. We all have much to offer.

If you are not familiar with our market, we are still currently in a "buyer's market" and your purported budget of $250-300K will yield you a wide array of choices of some well appointed homes. To help you narrow your search from afar, I invite you to visit my site @ You can view all available properties and also get information on area crime stats, demographics, availability of places of interest and shopping, etc. all in one place. It's a good first step and I would be happy to work with you as you cement your plans to relocate as well as assist you in finding your next home.

You'll love it here! Best of luck.

Rab, being proactive, I have made a few assumptions and found a few homes you might find interesting. They are in the NE part of town, which has slightly better investment potential than the west side. I assumed some basic home criteria and chose areas where crime should not be a problem. Let me know if any interest you. Here they are:

The first place I would send you for details on Albuquerque, if you have not confirmed your decision to move here is:
This list only goes back to last year, but it is even more impressive if it went back to 2005ish.
Check out the rest of that site as well!

The following tools will help you when searching online.
• Map with zip codes in our metro area attached for your reference. You can zoom in and out on this document. I will need you to email me so I can email this to you.
• MLS areas map also, which ought to prove helpful when searching using MLS tools like this one: this is real time MLS data, so it is the best site to use for actual home searching!
• General map and my basic descriptions of neighborhoods, also will email this to you.

Trulia is a good tool too, . I also like to do walk street view on google maps! You can also try

Below are some other great links I think you will find to be quite useful: Crime statistics by area good market stats you can plug in any address here and see what taxes are (use “calculator” to project taxes for next year, based on purchase price you input)… county info city maps and other info

I am happy do some home searching for you and set you up with your own web portal, where new listings that meet your criteria will go, and where I will put some for you to consider when I find good ones. Just shoot me your basic criteria if/when desired.

I would suggest using those agents who help you most, instead of locking into one source… don't sign an agreement to work with only one agent, they rarely answer the phone after that, and I will never ask you to sign one. I will wins your business with my service and market expertise! And finally, I offer a rebate of up to 1/3 of the commission paid to me by sellers, which can save you THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! Anyhow, consider giving me a shot, and maybe some time, next time you are in town, we can meet and I will do my best to earn your business and show you beautiful Albuquerque.

I hope this all helps Rab. Feel free to email me any questions related to Albuquerque any time! I grew up here, I actively invest here, and I love it here. I can even help with travel arrangements/recomendations.

To add on Rab, we have two rather distinct markets in Albuquerque, due to some geographical constraints to development. East and west of the Rio Grande river are two very different markets. So, one of the most important questions is where you will be commuting to. That will determine a good list of properties I can post for you to review and get an idea of what is available.

Hi Rab,
I would be happy to set up a portal for you in MLS that will email you all listings matching your criteria. Are you requesting homes in the town Bernalillo or in Albuquerque, which is in Bernalillo County? If youl would send me your "wish list" of what you are looking for in a home I can get that set up for you.

Hi Rab,
You can see crime stats here:
I also have some great tools for you to use while searching remotely. Excellent sources of information I created exclusively for my out of state buyers, because I work primarily with people transferring into Sandia National Labs (I was staff there for 7 years) and military at Kirtland Air Force Base (I was US Navy 6 yrs). Please contact me via Trulia, my website, or text, email, or phone anytime and I will gladly send you a wealth of information with no obligation.
