Looking at a house on Bucknell Way. How loud is the train in that area? Do you recommend the area?

Yes, you can hear the train. However, I have sold a couple of homes on this street and the owners all said the noise was surprisingly minimal. I live about four miles east and i can still hear it.

Hello Jamie,

Both Derrek and David are correct. If you would e mail me details. I will go down to the home and take a short video and send it to you tomorrow as I will be in that area.

Jamie,
Good morning! The best way to know is to go there and see in person. The train does run rather frequently. My concern for you would be your initial hesitation. I would be worried as your agent that you would have buyer's remorse. The upside is the prices are much lower the closer you get to the train (as I am sure you could imagine). Let me know how I can help.

You'll have considerable noise. I'd suggest "scoping" out the area to see how much. Many owners in Castle Rock enjoy the train noise (to some extent). It reminds them of the small town USA atmosphere they value.

If noise is a real concern for you, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
