I am verifying the following but believe that any monetary contribution towards the maintenance of the lake is not mandatory. Here is a helpful link to Groton Lakes Association that may be able to further supply you with the answers you seek.

The property is bank-owned and will most likely require either cash or a re-hab loan. You will not be able to finance conventionally because the septic system has failed and it is a buyer expense to replace/repair.

If you'd like to tour the property, don't hesitate to contact me.

Hi Catherine

Thanks so much for your help. Could you direct me to any trustworthy resources that could help me understand a rehab loan? My email address is if you would prefer to contact me that way.

Thanks again!

Hi Whitney,

this property is listed as a single family home and is an REO (bank owned). This is a cash buy or a or a 203 rehab financing per mls disclosures.

Thanks. Does this mean I could not use an FHA loan? I have about 20% down in case I could not use an FHA loan.
