Since this listing is not identified as to who the source of the listing is, it is hard to tell how it got onto Trulia. I have checked the mls, court records, and other sources, including for sale by owner sites, and have not been able to garner any information other than the fact that it sold in 2004 as quoted by the previous agent. There is no reason to believe that this is a foreclosure property, and actually there is no reason to think that it is even on the market. It is possible that the owner has put up his own listing on Trulia, but there is no other indication from anywhere that it is on the market. If you are looking for foreclosure properties or other great real estate deals in the area, I would be happy to assist you in finding a great deal--there are many to be had in this market, but the really good deals are disappearing as quickly as they come on the market, so you need to be ready to pounce when a great one comes along. Also, remember that foreclosure properties are "as is" purchases, so you would need to do any repairs necessary on your own. Short sales CAN be a good deal, but there are other great deals that are not short sales OR foreclosures.
