Is there any planned new middle or high schools or changes to zoning pending?

Asked by Jason Stanis, 21212 Sat Aug 29, 2009

The elementary appears to be good, but where do the families in this neighborhood send their kids if the middle and high schools are so poorly rated in this area? Do most kids go to private school?

Jason,
Your best bet is to call the Baltimore City public school system to find out if there are any possibilities of re-zoning, if that is a concern for you. Here is the link to the Baltimore City schools website: http://www.bcps.k12.md.us/Contact/index.asp
Even if there are plans for possible rezoning, you have to be prepared that it could possibly not happen -- and you never know if it could be re-zoned again.

There are many choices for private schools nearby if that were to be an option for you.
This website shows you the private schools in the area & can compare both private and public schools.

Good luck!
Please let me know if I can be of further service.
