Property Q&A in Sacramento>Question Details

W, Home Buyer in Sacramento, CA

Is the listing price 569k or 375k? The reason I ask is due to the conflicting price tags on the listing versus the touring video presented.Looks great

The house was listed for $375,000. It was just withdrawn from the MLS. It is a Short Sale, so right now we do not know how much it will actually sale for. If you would like I can do some more investigation and get back to you.

Let me know.

Hi W~

I just spoke to Polly's assistant, it appears that this home will end up going to foreclosure due to the Seller's non-performance.

The videos don't update automatically in most cases. The listing agent has to go into the vid file and change the list price. Most internet home search sites do eventually update to the current list price, but not the videos.

Sadly, this home is theoretically not available for purchase--maybe it will come back as a foreclosure one day? Are you working with a Realtor who can help you, instead of hanging out there, looking at properties you may not be getting the whole story on?

Good luck!

Now withdrawn. It was a Short Sale asking $375K. Based on the listing history that is given below, the bank didn't like the asking price (80% probability):

Hi W...

I an a realtor that works for foreclosing banks, pricing homes for the banks(called Broker Price Opinions BPO's). This give me access to the local foreclosure records and a foreclosures coming on the market. The house you asked about is in "preforeclosure". The means that it is scheduled for sale on the courthouse steps on 4/10/2012. The sale will most likely be stopped and the house should go back on the market, but it is not an exact science so we never know.

Please contact me if you would like me to follow the sale of this (or any) house.

Thanks for your time
