I can tell you as a life long Stamford resident and also one who grew up in the Cove, that I see no problems with this area. The property that I have listed consists of a married couple with a young school aged daughter. They have rented this property for 4 years and have loved it there. Their daughter simply crosses the street to get to her elementary school. Due to a family illness in another state, they have to relocate. Cove Island Park is beautiful, always active with families and numerous activities. There is also an ice rink with the park. I hope I have been helpful, please let me know if I can answer any further questions. Maureen Pavia,Sotheby's, 961 Long Ridge Road, Stamford. 203.912-3886
This is Charlie Nedder from Coldwell Banker Real Estate. Over the years I have represented buyers and sellers with properties in the Cove area of Stamford. Everyone seems to love Cove Island Park with the beach, tennis, ice rink, marina, playground and walking trail. The Cove is convenient to a major highway (I-95) and does offer public transportation to Stamford Downtown and to the Stamford Metro North Train Station. A website that offers information about the schools is http://www.greatschools.com or I might suggest that you schedule a tour of the school.

Yes, the cove is a very nice place to live. Cummings Beach and Cove Island park are great places to ride bicycles, jog, playgrounds, ballfields, etc. I have sold many single family homes and townhomes in the cove. As for schools, Fair housing laws preclude me from speaking about them. My suggestion is to call the board of education with any questions or concerns. I'd be happy to provide numbers for you if you'd like. Please give me a call at your earliest convenience and I can help you with all your real estate needs.
