Minimum credit scores vary by program. State and federal housing programs can sometimes be more forgiving than traditional mortgages.

As the largest independent bank based in New England, we have access to numerous programs that may be helpful. If nothing else, I can give you some tips on how to improve your credit score.

Feel free to call my direct line any time if you would like a free analysis. The number is (207) 894-5822 or toll-free (877) 440-2739, I can also be reached via email.

Good luck!

I have been hearing that at least a 640 credit score is the minimum to get pre-qualified. Every situation is different. You can pull your own credit from freecreditscore.com and find out what is on it, if it's at least a 640, etc.
Give me a call, text or email and we can talk more!
