darrell, Home Buyer in West Hollywood, CA

I would prefer to own in a building that does NOT have a pool, gym, a recreation room, etc.

Asked by darrell, West Hollywood, CA Thu Jun 14, 2012

I would never use those amenities, but I would have to pay for them through higher HOA dues. How likely am I to find a building like this in West Hollywood?

There are actually a great number of buildings that don't have the amenities you listed. They will range from older, smaller character buildings to brand new complexes built in the last 4 or 5 years where the developer wanted to maximize profitability and not waste space on amenities. Just today I previewed a loft in West Hollywood in a complex built in 2004 that has no amenities but instead has great parking including guest parking, additional storage and fantastic landscaping.

As with any property search your price range and square footage will heavily dictate what is available to you. Good luck with your search (if you indeed are still searching) and please do not hesitate to contact me, either through my Trulia profile, facebook http://www.facebook.com/realrealtyla , or my blog at Realrealtyla.wordpress.com
