The development was one that did build using the defective drywal. No comments in the previous listings reported that defect, However a sellers disclosure would likely disclose the issue. ALso, when you enter a home with defective drywall there is distinct odor and depending on how much of the drywall is suspoect, the odor can be overwelming, like rotten eggs!.

These homes are usually oriced much lower than market value to attract a buyer to remediate the property, Like the other Realtors have already mentioned your Inspection would disclose defective drywall.

If you need someone who knows the area and is familar with defective drywall properties, I'd be happy to help you.

Hi Natalio,

Based on the year built (quoted as 2006 in the MLS listing) there may possibly be Chinese Drywall. It is something you would have to check for. There is a special addendum to the sales contracts that you can have included with your offer, it is called a Chinese Drywall Addendum. This will state that if the house is inspected and is found to have the defective drywall and the cost to remedy the problem is more than $xxxx (you choose the dollar amount), then you can cancel the contract.

If you would like more information, please give me a call.

Natalio, this house was built in 2000 so you should not have any concerns about Chinese dry walls. It looks like a beautiful home in a lovely community.

Please give me a call at 561-445-8743 if I can help you further with this.
