Hi Sonya- There are number of incentives that a seller can try to increase traffic and sales calls. One is offering to the new buyer to pay for their new mortgage payments for 4-6 months. This is legal and is offered by a few lenders. This can usually mean more to a buyer than just "lowering the price"- which nowadays house hunters are almost immune to.
