Ed, no you would not have to view the property yourself before purchasing. Photos, videos and other documents such as surveys and or plat maps could be provided for you so you would have a very good idea about the property before purchasing. Your Realtor can provide any additiona infomation you may need about a property. Although the property you've inquired about is not available. Property will have to be zoned for a motor or mobile home to be placed on it. If you are looking for a property that you can just park on for an indefinite period, it will have to be away from the water and away from the military bases where your zoning will be a little more flexible.

Hello Ed,

I have looked for this property, and it is not currently on the market. The only bank owned property showing up in the tax records or on the mls is a condo in the complex known as Finisterra. If you would like I can send you a current and updated list of foreclosure properties in this area. Or you can access this information anytime by visiting my website--it has a live feed to the multiple listing service. If there is anything else I can do to assist, do not hesitate to ask.

"YOU" are not required to view the property before purchasing- but it highly suggested.

Placing of Motor Homes on residential lots is a matter of having that approved by the building/zoning department.

Most residential neighborhood forbid that a mobil be placed on the property- other than possibly a mobile "construction" office.

Contact the listing agent- if anyy to ascertain the lot size. If that is not possible, look up the address on the Okaloosa County Website- enter the folio or address and the lot size and/or dimensions should be listed.

Below is the website for Okaloosa County Property Records.

Ed, This is Water front property or near water front property. You are not going to by Gulf front property for $1,000 dollars. Looking at the map, seeing a marina next door this land would likely go in the area of Millions per acre.

Why not hook up with local Realtor (I am Not one) to help you out here and give you real numbers.
