Hi Roger,

Unfortunately Realtytrac keeps showing these properties as bait to get you to pay for their service. It's a scam that Trulia is inexplicably party to. Banks, like all sellers, want the most that the market will bear out. That's why almost all REO properties are listed in the MLS with a real estate broker in order to get the most possible exposure. Anyone really interested in selling the property would of course show you the address. I hope you didn't waste any money on Realtytrac.

Yeah, realtytrac tries to sell subscriptions to people like you on homes that aren't on the market yet. I wish trulia wouldn't try to allow a vendor like realtytrac to confuse buyers into thinking that a home is for sale when it isnt or a starting bid is really possible when no auction is set up. Those homes have a notice of default recorded with the county by the lender. That is the first step in the foreclosure process. Find an agent that can help you sort through the REO, already foreclosed properties
