The seller may entertain a offer contigent on the sale of your home. What that means you would write a contract to buy the home but you need to sell your home to settle. This is just a good way to let the seller know you want the home and will do EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO GET YOURS SOLD.. Now if anther buyer comes along that is ready to go your offer will be kicked out. This is called a kick out clause.. You have a set time to come up with the funds or get kicked out.
