Property managers, on average, charge between 4% and 10% of the gross rent. Let's say you have a condo and you charge $2000/month @ 5% that would only be only $100. This would not be sufficient to attract a seasoned professional. In a situation like this, you might want to agree on a flat fee. It all depends on the agreement and the level of duties and responsibilities. Some agreements are very basic while others include comprehensive and detailed attention to the properties.
