you will have to pay both companies. You requested another agent from the same company to take over and they refused that too. very unprofessional, unless the agent is the broker.. still unprofessional. because sometimes that happens the personalities just clash. we recently had
that problem and my manger took over.
I would call an attorney for some help perhaps the extra cost just for peace of mind may be worth
it to you for your health and nightmares. . good luck
You should hire a good real estate attorney to help you out with this. If you want, call me and I can refer you to some good attorneys who can help you. Keep in mind that simply being rude may not be just cause for them to give you a release.
Also, you can have them show you the bills they paid related to marketing your home and proof of the ads which would justify them insisting on $10,000.00. You can also tell them you will place a negative review on Yelp.com concerning your experience with their company if they do not grant you the release.
Lastly, you can also contact me direct and I will reach out to the broker on your behalf, maybe I can help your cause. Either way, good luck!
