Hi Renita, this property is a foreclosure with the tenant in place. It went under deposit on 1/30 and just came back on the market again. The bank is selling the property "as is" and unfortunately do not have to dislosure the condition as they never occupied the property. It would be a good idea to have a qualified contractor look at the roof and you can request home inspections when you put in an offer as well. I have alot of experience with foreclosures and would be more than happy to assist you further. Julie Lucia, Realtor, Showcase Realty, 203-578-5631
The age of the roof may be noted on the Property Condition Disclosure,if not ask the current homeowner if he or she knows. What is also important is the condition of the roof and if there is 1 or 2 layers of shingles ( this will determine the cost to replace the roof.
