I would be very, very weary of this posting. In a market where prospective tenants line up at the door this posting has been "available" for 180 days. Does that not raise red flags?

Another thing: spend some time looking at San Francisco rent control laws, and read about sublets. You may have some surprises in store.

This was more of a logistical question, as clicking the 'contact property' button returned a response saying there were no agent details attached.

As Astrid said; it is kind of strange and unsual of a nice rental listing to stay on the market this long..
