I have been a member of the Sacramento Real Estate Exchange Group (SREEG) for the past sixteen years.

We have about 80 members. Our monthly meetings are scheduled in Citrus Heights at 10:30 on the third Friday. The average attendance is about two dozen of the members.

The next meeting is scheduled for Friday November 20th.

Members get together and "pitch" their listings to other members for the purpose of exchange or trade.

Deals can be as simple as trading a couple of free and clear building lots for a free and clear house, or a couple of houses for an apartment building. -

SREEG Members are also expert at complicated transactions involving financing, multiple principals and every kind of commercial and residential property.

Types of property include houses, apartment buildings, lots, farms, developments, offices, shopping centers, retail, industrial, medical, vineyards, and everything. Areas include Sacramento, Central Valley, out of state, and international.

Everything and everywhere - real estate - with Sacramento and its valley as the central point.

SREEG is not a company, it is an association of agents and investors from many different companies and sole proprietorships.

If you would like to email me or call me, I would happy to present your trade opportunity at the next meeting.
Or, you might already know one of the agents on the list referenced below.

The basic information needed to pitch to the group include: 1. What do you own now that you want to trade out of? 2. What are you looking to trade into? 3. What is the market value of what you have, and how much equity do you have in it? 4. Are you looking to trade up, down or laterally?

The more knowledge your agent has going in, the more likely he or she is likely to find a match.

I'm with Elizabeth in not knowing exactly what you're referring to, but I will make an assumption here.

If you're asking about exchanging properties, then there are no agents that specialize in swapping, but there was a group formed a few years ago that created an 'alliance' and shared information on properties available for swap in a kind of informal network.

This system became valuable when the inventories in the El Dorado Hills area became so high, that one of the more active teams set up a system to swap properties that would create solutions of mutual benefit.
I'd have to check if they still have that network going as I haven't heard from them for awhile.

Is that what you're referring to? Another group that might address this would be one of the local investment groups but they are working without an agent in most cases. Please elaborate on what you are asking about.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean exchanging investments or trading a home -- once or several times? Can you explain?
