Asked by Charlene Windham, 19567 Sun Jun 21, 2009

There is two that I am interested in and want to know more about them. I am also looking to purchase a duplex in Northeast Phila. preferably in a nice neighborhood. Can I use my current home's equity to purchase a new home? Thanks

Depending on the amount of equity you have in your home, you can take a "home equity" loan and use this to buy the 2nd property "cash" , or use this money for a down payment and take out a mortgage against the second home. Feel free to give me a call for more assistance 800-339-5834. We've been selling duplexes in the northeast for over 25 years.
