Has anyone tried geo thermal cooling? From my research digging only 4-6feet trench and burying close loop circulation can maintain 50degree temp.

Wrong place for that question. But as it happens I have some knowledge in that area.
What are you cooling? water? for what kind of system? It is not very cost effective for small scale residential.
However, earth berming, in the right climate, with proper fenestration orientation can be cost effective by reducing heat loss and heat gain

Yeah I was just looking into it as a weekend warrior project, its for resdential home that does not currently have central air conditioning. As I research these new heatpumps seem like a good idea since we have relatively mild winters. (North of 210 Sierra Madre).
