This is not an uncommon problem with Truila or Zillow, both of which receive their data from a data feed from our MLS (Multiple Listing System). Most real estate professionals refer people to the live, public access site of our MLS http://(www.myagenttoldme.com
) or to Realtor.com. Getting these third parties (Zillow and Trulia) to correct mistakes isn't easy. It's not uncommon for the property data to have an incorrect price or number of bedrooms and baths. Beside, their $ per sq. ft. and estimates of value can be off because location, like a property with an ocean view) or other amenities aren't considered. There is no substitute for a live agent. You shouldn't feel obligated to ask one some questions. Don't be frustrated if you try their toll free number.
