No one can tell by looking. No one can tell by the age of the property. A lead paint test is necessary to answer your question.

Great question, that unfortunately real estate agents nor home inspectors can answer for you. The best answer comes from the seller if they have a letter of compliance. The listing sheet says that the presence of lead paint is "unknown". Once an agreed upon price is settled on, you have the opportunity to conduct a lead test. Please feel free to call/text/email me with any additional questions that you may have.

Lead Paint and its removal and compliance is governed by federal and state laws with the state of Massachusetts law predating the federal laws. Home owners must comply with state and federal laws which apply to all homes built before 1978. That house that you mention was built before 1978 and the MLS shows the owner has accepted an offer. There is no further information on lead in that house. Are you interested in an investment, multi unit residential property? They can make a good investment in today's market with an increased demand for more affordable housing options. Lead paint and lead paint removal have received recents changes in their oversight by local towns and cities. Check with your town for more information on licensing and certification for removal of lead.

Hello,
Lead paint can be a touchy issue for many home buyers. Often when a home has been deleaded a quick search with the address will give you information. You can always check with the town to see if they have information as well. If you are working with a buyers agent they can do this for you.
The property is currently showing as under agreement. Are there any other multi families here in town that you were interested in?

Best of luck!
