i would like to add that in a short sale, the bank does not own the propeerty, the seller does. the bank is just giving permission for the seller to sell at an amount that is less than what is owed to the lender. i suggest you contact a local agent as almost all short sale are agent represented.

If the bank has to give permission, then the bank has a legal claim and essentially owns/controls the property and the deed.

Hi Bob, I well familiar with the Laird Street property, as it is about 2 blocks from my home. The lender on record is Bank of America.
