This neighborhood of Minneapolis is very close the the Downtown area. The plus side of living there would be that you are very convenient to downtown if you needed to commute there for work. It would take you maybe 5-10 driving or would be on a bus route that could get you downtown easily.
The potential down side is that it is located near a large freeway system that feeds into downtown. This might not be a bad thing, but would be worth seeing in person to be sure. Sometimes the best thing is to get out to the area and see for yourself.
If you would like to tour any homes in this area, I would be very happy to set up some showings for you in order to "kick the tires" and get a feel for the homes and the neighborhood first hand. If you have any more questions about Minneapolis or in general, let me know. I would love to help you with your search. Have a good night!
