Property taxes should include town and county, city and village (if applicable) and school tax. The amount reported should be the true tax for the property before any NYS STAR exemption, but there can be errors so I always check with the local clerk to be sure. Susan, I don't believe the monthly tax amount includes all taxes. My sister's home in Penfield (19 Foxbourne Rd.) shows about $160/mo where her actual taxes are over $6000/yr. Can you check and let me know. Many homes in Webster I've looked at on Trulia show really low taxes also. It would be great if the figure is true. I hope so.
Thanks,
