Traditionally homes are not sold furnished! Lenders do not wish to finance furniture over the term of the mortgage. When furniture is included it is completed as an arrangement between the buyer and seller, and should not appear in the purchase contract, ever.

Now it is important to note that many homes being sold, are owned by citizens who inherited the property or already have fully furnished homes. Another consideration is the Florida themed furnishing in Tamp may not blend well with Minot ND decor. These homes are good candidates for a side deal that will include furnishings, but this deal must be outside of the home purchase contract. You may find yourself writing a check to the owner for the furnishings at the closing table. I have competed several such transactions that included the pots and pans, linens, pictures on the wall and the Weber behind the garage. Be well advised to create an itemized list. You will be glad you did.

Best of success in buying your new home.

Yes, they include furniture quite often If it is a vacation home or condo. Sometimes if the seller is moving across the country they will include their furniture, and just move their personal items.
