Do I need a real estate license in California if I'm planning on helping owners with rent ready maintenance? I will not be leasing or buy/sell

If I'm planning on getting independent contractors to help me where I'm planning on helping property owners with inspection of the rental and rent ready maintenance works, do I need a Real Estate License in california?

Will you be working for a licensed individual? If yes, then you won't need the license.

Contact the Department of Real Estate for your answer. If you are not buyer, selling, leasing or representing buyers or sellers in a transaction, you may not require a license, however you may require other licenses for inspections.
