Mike Douglas, Home Buyer in Eudora, KS

Considering the small size of this house and its age, the asking price is WAY too high!! Try $170,000, please.

Hi Mike Douglas,

I know Stan the owner. I know how much he paid for the house and the condition it was in when he bought the house. I know he has improved upon the house tremendously. I know he originally priced the house at $219,000, then reduced it to $209,000, and now has it at $200,000. Will he accept $170,000? While I doubt that he will, the only way you get the answer is to put in an offer on the property for that price and find out if he accepts the place or not.

I research owner's motivation in selling, whether they have moved out, whether they owe back taxes, how much they paid for the property, the building material quality, appraisal values of other houses on the block, and so much more for my clients. I would be happy to take you on as a client and let you know what I know about any properties in the Lawrence area.

All the public fields of all the MLS listings are available if you would like to set up an account on http://www.AskRobLang.com or with no login required go to http://www.LetRobDoIt.com for all the IDX listings (does not have two agencies listings as they do not permit them to appear on IDX websites).

Wait a few years it will be cheaper. Find out what the price was in 1999-2000. That would be a good starting point for an offer. Never pay "bubble prices". Good Luck
