Because you did not include any personal data, check with http://www.bcad.org and they will work with you to establish any deductions you can receive on the home at this address. You would need to check with the City to determine if the area is on the annexation radar. I also advise determining which agencies service your water, ambulance response, fire response and if the house is or will be in a required HOA.

Bill,

The numbers in Bexar County Appraisal District for 2009 differ quite a bit from what Zilkia has answered with (not sure where the difference is occurring). Here are the numbers from the appraisal district:

BEXAR CO RD & FLOOD $53.37
SA RIVER AUTH $27.75
ALAMO COM COLLEGE $236.32
UNIV HEALTH SYSTEM $463.12
BEXAR COUNTY $515.22
CITY OF SAN ANTONIO $984.02
NORTHSIDE ISD $2,326.58

Total Tax Rate: 2.648097
Taxes w/o Exemptions: $4,606.36

As you can see there are city taxes. I'm a bit troubled by the apparent lack of valid information for the home though as in the San Antonio MLS (Multiple Listing Service), 9531 Wind Dancer is listed as a 3 bedroom 2 bath one story home, while the photos and information here at Trulia clearly show a two story home that is listed as 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths. In the San Antonio MLS the home is marked as a model home and is not currently for sale (the listing was canceled in April 2009.

Typically the builders will feed Trulia with information, but what you see is not always what is available. They give you a basic idea in order to get you to come visit them, then they show you what they actually have. Even when looking for clients in particular neighborhoods, I will send them what's in the MLS and then call the builder to see what they have that's not listed or coming up soon.

This link will show you what is currently available in The Enclave at Westover Hills:

Bill,

Yes there are city taxes. However, that address is a one story home built brand new by Legacy homes. They ad you are looking at is advertising Legacy's models in the Enclave at Westover Hills which is an awesome neighborhood.

That area is really growing strong for San ANtonio with all the business development and growth in the area. Would be more than happy to send you some numbers that represent that fact in the area.

Respectfully yours,

Josh
