My opinion is No. Not for a proposal that is 5 plus years out, and will require legislative permission.
Investors in this 300 +acre park need to actually form their own special taxing districts. Which will allow them to "Vote and float " bonds to help finance this project. You have to remember that this park is only a proposal.
Great Idea for tourism, However Mesa has a jump on it, with there own
Water-World-Wave-Park, $6.a bottle of water, extravaganza.
Yes it is half the size at only 120 acres, and mostly geared towards water activity's, but hey were in the desert. Were would you go in June, July, August?
Eloy and Mesa are only 65 miles apart. My opinion is that this proposal will be a tough sell in this economy... more
Yes, the Phoenix metro area market is one of the hot markets in the US. In the top 3 in year of year price increases.
1. Low supply of homes available
2. Near record low mortgage rates
3. Many that have had foreclosures or short sales during past five years are qualified to buy again after renting
4. Population influx...net of 3,000 new residents per month
5. Economy is getting better
6. Buyers looking to purchase before prices continue to climb
7. Pent of demand from renters that want to own again
8. Investors in market again

Just so you know - Trulia doesn't list houses - agents do. Trulia only gathers information from around the country, from various MLS systems.. They have no input in, or control over, list prices.
