Why do I see so much original bathroom tile in mid-town, mid-century homes? Is it worth preserving it rather than remodeling? What do buyers prefer?
If you plan to live in the house for awhile, do what you'd prefer. If you're planning to sell soon, it's unlikely that you'll recover the cost of remodeling.
