The "Job Lost Protection" program is an additional marketing tool that not all Real Estate Brokers offer their clients. I would like to think listings that offer the program would have a competitive edge over those that do not. The important thing to remember is the benefit the program offers to potential Buyers. Hope this helps.

Good question, and of course it all depends.
Are you talking "big box" to describe "big box" retailers, or did you mean something else?
I would answer yes, they are "good" in general, but their collateral damages of traffic increases and crime attraction could outweigh the "good."
It all depends.
Also, if the retailer is incongruent with some of the core demographics of the area, and does not attract "neighbors," only more car traffic from non-neighbors, then the stigma of being a fish out of water can outweigh some of the "good" too.... more
