My husband is in a bass fishing club and he goes to Lake Pasadena in Dade City and Lake Thonotosassa down 301 towards Tampa. It only takes 20 minutes to get to either of these fishin' holes and he always catches fish.

WOW...What a question. Well, I fish on private farms all of the time. When a client asks me out to his place for the first time I often admire the lakes and end up with an invite.

Then there are several great tributaries to the Hillsborough River and several hundred lakes in the area.

From Z-hills, (listen to 96.7 by the way and you might just here me from time to time) I would get on 301 and hit the Hillsborough River or Hillsborough River State Park.
