More than you'd imagine for a town with 5900 households! We have the established Harrisburg Park, where the annual Fourth of July festival takes place, adult flag football is played, childrens' soccer games are played, and where families congregate at the playground. We have two new parks under construction. One is on Pharr Mill Road and will be completed this summer. It will feature walking/running trails, a fishing pond, great playground areas and sand volleyball courts. The other new park is on Stallings Road and is scheduled to be an adult park with tennis courts and a running track.

Our local Harrisburg Youth Association sponsors baseball, softball, t-ball, soccer and basketball for all ages of children.
