Yes,
yes, anna maria does have a bike path.Starting at Coquina Beach, it goes almost the entire length of the island. It is marked on the main road. There are also many side roads where there is less traffic and beautiful Key Royale, which is at Holmes Beach, and has about 3 miles turn around with lots of side streets..

yes, anna maria does have a bike path...starting at Coquina Beach, it goes almost the entire length of the island...it is marked on the main road...there are also many side roads where there is less traffic and beautiful Key Royale, which is at Holmes Beach, and has about 3 miles turn around with lots of side streets..many, many miles. Longboat is a different island, and has a bike path the entire length...along side the only busy road. you could actually, ride from the tip of Anna Maria, down to Longboat, around St. Armand's Circle, over the Ringling Bridge, into Sarasota, around downtown and head out to Siesta Key if you have the time and legs for it...i'll bet it is about 35miles, one way. Great places to eat the entire road!

Yes, there is a new bike lane along Coquina Beach in Bradenton Beach, on Anna Maria Island. There is also bike lanes in Holmes Beach (central Anna Maria Island), and in Anna Maria City, our most northern and charming village on Anna Maria Island! Anna Maria Island is probably one of the last quaint Florida islands. It's a mixture of new to tiny cottages to multi-million dollar beach and bay front homes and condos. Plenty of places to eat, each unique to the other. Love to fish? Perfect! Come to Anna Maria Island. You'll also find that you can walk almost the entire 7 mile length of the Gulf beaches with only a handful of go-arounds. Love to boat? Perfect! We also have a community devoted to volunteering, support of non-profit organizations, and art. Anna Maria Island Art League features 2 Fine Arts Festivals a year! Contact me and I'll send you info!

Longboat Key does have a bike lane all the way down, but I will confirm that Anna Maria does not have bike lane. I sell RE in Atlanta and own on Longboat Key. It is still easy to bike there!

Yes!! Longboat Key has a bike lane and sidewalks from the North end of the Island all the way to the end of the Key. Lot's of fun biking, stop at Harry's for a sandwich and have a picnic at Ken Thompson Park on the bay. You will also enjoy the newest bike path on the north end of Coquina Beach, just north of Longboat that trails along the beach. Put your bike on the trolley and take a scenic view all the way to the end of Anna Maria Island. Have a lunch at the Rod and Reel pier and watch the locals catch fish! Best grouper sandwich in town!

If you are talking about Anna Maria Island just north of Longboat Key and Sarasota, then the answer is No. There are no bike paths. The road is fairly busy as it is a beach boulevard. The section of road for Longboat Key I think is wider and there may be a bike lane...can't remember for sure. Check out Pinellas Trail. http://www.pinellascounty.org/trailgd/default.htm It's a bonafied biking trail. Pinellas County is where St Petersburg, FL is. Some transit buses also carry bikes.
