Egg Harbor Township is 75 square miles. There are numerous parks and recreation activities. If you are looking for ocean beaches, you won't find the here. The link below will give you an idea of what's available in Atlantic County.

And this link will give you info on EHT parks and recreation.

A great thing to remember if you're considering a move to Atlantic County...homes in almost all communities, including Egg Harbor, qualify for USDA 100% financing

Give me a call if you need more information about Egg Harbor, Mays Landing, Pleasantville or the surrounding communities.

Hi Debbi,

I live in Egg Harbor Twp...and love the area! There are no beaches here in the township, but we are 6 miles from Ocean City and Atlantic City. There is also Lake Lenape in Mays Landing which is about 5 miles, and there is picnic, beach and camping there. Also, we have the Great Egg Harbor River, which has canoeing and kyaking activities. if you are looking for close proximity fo the beaches, WITHOUT the high prices of the beach communities, then you can't do better than Egg Harbor Township. Plus, there are alot of newer construction homes here to choose from - many of them available through short sale (giving you more buying power for your dollars).

I know that you had previously asked about Somers Point and Ocean City - both areas I am also very familiar with. Please email or give me a call anytime to discuss your options further.
