It was DeGraw Street - part of which was renamed Lincoln Place in 1873 after a murder at a house on DeGraw. Kate Stoddard, spurned by her lover Charles Goodrich, shot him in the head after he tried to end their relationship.

Park Slope is served by several subway lines. On the south, there is the F train, whioh goes up 9th St on its way to and from Coney Island. On the North (by Flatbush Ave) there are more choices: The D and the Q as well the 2 and 3 at Grand Army Plaza. Buses run on the major arteries, 5th and 7th Ave. The B63 on 5th and B67 on 7th.... more
