I thought I would chime in on your original question. Sorry I missed the topic the first time around. =)
Depending on how long you plan to stay in the home, middle schools and high schools will become a factor. In general they are a factor with regard to the rankings of many agents and their clients who are seeking the ultimate in schools for their kids. I'm with Earl on Cherry Chase and Cumberland Elementary Schools. They have the benefit also of feeding to Sunnyvale Middle and Homestead High.
I believe a lot of the market is going to be determined by the bank's liquidity crunch and how the Fed chooses to intervene. There has been a lot of pressure on our markets for the recent round of rate cuts that never made it into consumers' pockets in the form of lower interest rates or relaxed lending. It is tough for some with excellent credit and good ratios to manage qualifying for a loan.
Good luck in your search!
