Your best bet is to hire someoen who is in teh business of renting homes. They can assist you in finding more than potential renters to choose from, they will check the credit, past landord/rental history, job and income verification. if you want to do it your self you will need tio take a deposit, make it refundable only if you do not apporve them, check their credit online, call their job, call their old or current landlord. get 3 references and call them. make sure you collect first months rent and 1 month securrity deposit. Board members can only be recalled the same way they were elected; by an election. First, you should look at your By Laws as it should tell you the process. If you can not find anything there read California Civil Code section 1357 to 1369. On the recall documents you can not put information on why you want a recall as it might by considered campaigning. When you mail out the recall requests you can mail a separate letter explaining why you want the board members recalled. I’m not an attorney.
