Ocean City is primarily a summer resort destination. During the winter there isn't much to do and residents just go about their lives. You should know the year round resident population is very small and only during the late spring & summer months it grows to the thousands as many out of area vacationers stay there for a week - the end of summer.... more

Speaking for the Jersey Shore a little north of you, October is usually a good month. The dust has settled on the Summer rentals and the rush to get in before school starts has cleard. A lot of seasonal rentals are thinking of turning to "winter only" mode, it's a good time to haggle on an annual rental.
