IF YOU ARE DRIVING INTO THE CITY, THE COMMUTE CAN TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 1/2 HOUR TO AN HOUR--DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF DAY. USING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT AS LONG. THE BIGGEST HURDLE IS, OF COURSE, THE GWB. NEW MILFORD HAS EXCELLENT BUS AND TRAIN SERVICE INTO NYC. IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION, CALL ME AT 201-519-7980 OR EMAIL ME: JimSellsBergenCounty@Gmail.com. I NOT ONLY SELL REAL ESTATE, I ALSO LIVE IN NEW MILFORD!... more
You first might want to check with New Jersey Transit to get the train schedule to see what times it comes by and whether it actually makes stops late at night. My understanding is that it is a commuter train. Again, New Jersey Transit is your best unbiased source for information regarding train schedules. and yes you should see (hear!) for yourself..everyone does have different hearing!
If i can be of any further help I'm an 18 yr local realtor.
