This recently completed upscale loft on Broughton Street is nestled on the third floor of a brick building built for A. Smets & M.Gnahl in 1872 to be used as an antique shop. Walk out your front door and step onto Savannah's hottest "shopping" street in the historic district. Just north is Franklin Square with its majestic Live Oaks which opens the door to City Market referred to as the "Art and Soul" of Savannah. This pedestrian friendly area has some of Historic Savannah?s points of interest which include historic landmarks, museums, restaurants, countless bars, trendy lounges, guided tours, and stylish shopping. River Street is only a few blocks away, and hints of SCAD (Savannah?s College of Art Design) are interwoven all throughout. In addition, the free Historic District trolley stops just outside on Broughton Street and is a great way to explore the area. The nearby exquisite dining such as the world-famous Lady and Son's, Vinnie Van Go-Go's, Il Pasticcio, and Gottlieb?s among many others comprise Savannah?s rich culinary culture. Take in all the entertainment and night life but retire to your relatively quieter Broughton Street luxury loft. This loft is in a prime location for downtown professionals and SCAD students. A spacious top floor studio with beautifully finished hardwood floors throughout, 12' vaulted ceilings, exposed original Savannah brick, and two brilliant 8' windows overlooking historic downtown. The kitchen is finished with mild cherry cabinets and all brand new stainless steel appliances including a smoothe top stove, space saver microwave, dishwasher, and Refrigerator. The space also contains stackable full-size washer/dryer, and 9ft tall by 8ft wide wardrobe with pull out drawers and shelves. Josh Sprayberry 404-557-9118

I would love to help you in any way that I can. As for area employment, there are many companies that may have a position for you. Unfortunately, with the current economy, some of the best opportunities with companies are on hiring freezes. Gulfstream would probably have a geat position for you under normal circumstances and I would still advice going onto their site and applying although they are giving current employees furloughs and are currently on a hiring freeze. These positions could open up at any time though, so I would certainly still apply on their site. JCB is another large company, but they are also on a freeze to my understanding. You may want to consider the travel, hotel industry. We have a lot of hospitality positions in Savannah. There are new and existing properties that could use your expertise. The ports and paper mills could also provide you great opportunity. I can certainly get you links to any of these companies if you'd like. The other consideration is that our prices our down just like everywhere else in the country. You could actually purchase a home for what you were looking to put as a down payment. There are townhomes/condos out at the islands that have been foreclosed on and have sold at the 80k range. There are also some midtown Savannah locations that would be in the low 100's. The historic area wouldn't be in this price range, but there are properties available in all ranges. Please let me know if I can help you in any way. Robin Arrow 912-655-2554
