My family and I will be moving to SA area soon, we would prefer to be able to purchase a home with at least 5 acres. What area can you recommend?

There are several to choose from. Do you need a place that allows horses by chance? I can suggest the Spring Branch area, Boerne, Bulverde and many more.

What else can you tell me about your needs so I can place you correctly?

Dear Cristy,

It will be most likely in the outskirts of San Antonio, as the Helotes, Spring Branch, Bulverde or Floresville area. It all depends on what you have to be close to and price, of course. Call or e-mail me, so we can discuss your situation and determine what will be the best fit for you.

If you are not ready for that yet, log in to my website http://www.SAHomes4Sale.net and browse the MLS until you are.

There are great opportunities to buy a home with acreage around San Antonio. Some that are in developments may limit the amounts of animals that you can own whereas others may not. So the first question to consider is what do you want to do with the land...raise animals, own livestock, plant crops or just have open space? Do you have a price point maximum in mind and the size of home you would like to consider as a minimum? Are you concerned about a work commute? Are there certain schooling needs to be considered? Before you start looking at homes, it is important to plan for your wants and needs to focus on what is important to you.

I would love to help you find the home and property that works best for you. If you would like to have a free consultation, to get the process started please give me a call at 210-827-2858.

I show and sell mostly rural properties around San Antonio. Who ever you chose to use as an agent, make sure they are familiar with wells and septics and deed restrictions. Lastly make sure they pull comps for you. I do that with every client I work with. Its not just about selling or listing a property to me, it is about building relationships with my clients. I hope you had a blessed Easter weekend! If I can help you, please don't hesitate to contact me.
