I'm a 22 year old moving from Ft Lauderdale Florida to Dallas for a job transfer. I have never been to Dallas before so I have no idea where to

look. I would like to be in an area where there is a good amount of people in my age group so that I will have opportunities to make friends. My office is in Garland so I would like not to have a long commute to work. I am trying to stay under $800 a month in rent. I am definately open to suggestion!!! Thanks!

Congrats and welcome to great city Dallas. obviously you can make people in your age group as your friends. Probably people in Dallas should more friendly to you. It is clever to consider moving and relocation company or even some real estate agents. Why because they can guide you in right path to understand about the city. Feel free to hire a relocation or real estate agency.

I would probably look in East Dallas, Uptown, Greenville area. Depends on what you like to do. The areas around White Rock lake are great for exercise....running, walking, biking, etc. Uptown is more urban chic...Texas chic anyway...an alternative might be Addison.

well lucky thing is there is a dart rail that runs into garland so you could live in the east dallas greenville area at that budget in smaller place and ride the train into work. I would love to help you find a rental. email me so i can respond with a link to everything that is currently available

thanks
