Trulia is good source of real estate agent. You may look at http://www.homefacts.com also.

What a good response you have got here for the legit website, what if you have asked directly and exactly what you want. No doubt Trulia is an awesome place to find good solutions.

Not sure why your inquiries are going unanswered; however you can try asking people you may know for referrals, or simply call a few local and different realty offices and schedule appointments to interview agents in person, then choose the one you like best; you can also locate some area agents under the find a pro tab.

Wow, you have gotten a ton of responses! Now that you have searched HAR.com and other websites, check out the agents profiles and approval ratings.

Do make sure you find a good lender to get you pre-approved and who will advise you as to what to do if your credit score needs improvement.

I can help with purchase or leasing, check out my profile if you wish and send me an e-mail!

There are lenders who can work with lower scores, however, it will cost you a higher interest rate. Move away from the big banks and go to a lender. I also have had clients with bad scores get them up within 6 months. SOme of these lenders can direct you how to accomplish that. There are certain techniques, such as pay your bills on time and early ALWAYS. Never, ever be late. That is 10 points up or down to your score right there!
1 vote Thank Flag Link Sun Jun 3, 2012
Also Credit One Bank is a very good card for building a score
Flag Wed Sep 18, 2013
A good credit card to get is Conns. The name says it all but hey I tell my clients get something small like a lawn mower or something you need since they are very high priced with their merchandise. There are several ways to get approved for credit, if you've been turned down everywhere else, you can get something here, even if you for example, buy the lawn mower and finance the insurance for it (sounds crazy but when I did loans and credit restoration for my clients I would set them up at Conns, have them pay their card on time, and in advance by at least two weeks so the payment shows up early in the system. When this method is followed you will see an increase in your score by 40 points within 6 months. Lastly, late pays and charge offs drop your score by 30 points depending if you have other revolving credit to balance it out. Have a great day!

Yes thankyou I went to a company named Lgi yesterday they had a 0 down move in and recommended us getting a credit card to add a third credit score, yes I pay my bills on time my mom taught me that =) thanks for responding to my question great information

I am not sure why you haven't been told to go to HAR.com and choose REALTORS. Then indicate what type or area you are looking for a realtor. While you are in there, check out realtor surveys for those realtors you are considering. If they do not participate in HAR's free realtor survey program, then find one who does with good scores and comments.

Jennifer

What type of home are you looking for? how much do you want to spend or how much home can you afford?

Sorry for the direct questions, but any realtor will also ask you these questions.

Also have you been qualified for a mortgage or are you paying Cash.?

As CB mentioned be specific.

Or find the area you would like to live in. then look for local Real Estate offices, and on THURSDAY, wake in that office ready to go house hunting.

A Realtor well welcome You.

Good Luck.

Hi Jennifer,

There are several websites that you can choose. HAR.com is the Houston Association of Realtors and is the best place start your home search.

I did read a few of the feeds below, one of them being one of yours. Please DO NOT ever give out your Social Security number to a Realtor. You may need to provide that information to an insurance agen but NEVER a Realtor.

I am in the Clear Lake and surrounding areas. If there is anything that I can help you with please feel free to give me a call.

Hello Jennifer;

har. com will give you all the information you need to search for homes in Houston. IT is the best large city Real Estate website in the country. If you have a general idea of where you want to live, let me know and I will help you narrow down the areas. Good Luck. Pam H

Jennifer,

I know you have received plenty of responses. I just wanted to include one more:

http://cypresshomes.kwrealty.com/

This site is accurate and will access the same as har.com, but you will also be able to set up alerts for future dates so you don't have to go search EVERYDAY...the system will automatically notify you when new homes fit your needs. I would be more than happy to assist you in finding a home once you are ready. We can do alot electronically since it's a valuable timesaver.

Have a great day and Happy home searching!
